Serials – apology & request for help

I apologize; it appears that “posting serials on time” is a skill that can atrophy from nonuse.

Inner Circle will be up today; Edally will be up next Wednesday, hopefully on its own new web page.

I could use some help!

I need to pick themes – https://wordpress.org/themes/ – for both Edally & Inner Circle. If you pick something (pref. free), I’ll take it; if it doesn’t work long-term, I can change it, but that will stop the decision freeze I’m having.

I also need (preferably Creative Commons or free-to-use) header images for both – something I can modify with the title (Unless you’re feeling very helpful, in which case, something appropriate & modified with the title).

Again, my apologies, and thanks in advance.

~L~

Themes Ideas

So, one of the things I’m trying for my Patreon campaign is a monthly theme or ‘verse.

Patrons at the $5/month level and above will be able to vote on the theme/’verse, and at least some of the free-posted fiction on the site that month will be in that theme.

In addition, if we reach the $75, $150, $300, or $450/month donation levels, the rewards will be within theme.

‘Verses are easy; I have lots of ’em and can pick the ones I’m excited about or at least leave out the ones I’m really not feeling that month.

Themes – themes are harder.

Suggestions?

So, the More, Please tag is back in rotation, & I’m indecisive

http://aldersprig.dreamwidth.org/tag/morepls

Something you want to see more of in that tag?

or the “ack, more” tag: http://aldersprig.dreamwidth.org/tag/ackmoar

or the “and then what?” tag: http://aldersprig.dreamwidth.org/tag/andthenwhat

EDITED TO ADD LJ TAGS:

See Other Addergoole characters through the apoc?

[personal profile] faeapoclive has shown us pieces of the apoc’s beginnings through various character’s eyes. So far we have seen the Original Series protagonists – Shahin, Kailani, and Jamian.

Is there someone else you’d like to see? Any Addergoole character who exists in 2011 in-world time is up for grabs.

Suggested:
Aleron
Speed
Anatoliy
Porter
Ceinwen
Arundel
Emrys
Conrad

Also, I need some gods, please –

Specifically, gods that might be attracted to Rochester, NY and points directly-ish East of there.

Fae Apoc gods, when they returned, tended to pick personalities from old myths (or to be personalities from old myths; that’s still up in the air). The cities they gravitated to were ones where they felt welcome – Irish-myth-gods to Irish-heavy cities, Polish-gods to Polish-heavy cities – either in Europe or in the U.S.

One source lists Rochester as – Ancestries: German (10.3%), Irish (8.6%), Italian (7.9%), English (6.2%), Polish (2.6%), West Indian (1.8%).

(Read more: http://www.city-data.com/city/Rochester-New-York.html#ixzz33svaWrLh)

(sort of a weird listing – because the fact that the city is 38.1% black is listed in a different chart. I apologize; easily-accessible data does not nicely list African nationality of ancestry the way it does European)

From growing up in Rochester-area, I’d say that fits the feel of the city, although I can’t vouch for actual numbers.

“Where Does Society Begin?” a longer answer to “So, you’ve survived the apoc…”

[personal profile] dialecticdreamer has posted here a longer answer to my So, You’ve Manage to Survive the Apocalypse… and the immediate post-apoc no-tech horror…question here and is requesting feedback.

Feedback Wanted: Kailani/Dean Storm and Addergoole East ~ House Names

So, in Addergoole East (at least early-timeline), Kailani/Dean Storm has chosen to go with Houses of the Harry Potter sort.

I am thinking of having her (she is a very nerdy young lady with a serious academic bent) name them after the four/five classical Greek/Latin elements.

Thoughts? Brainstorming? Scoffing?

Doeees anyone know if I have determined anywhere in writing~

~what Professor Pelletier’s Name is? And, if so, is it somewhere I can easily change it?

Help?

Edit: It’s not in the character: Pelletier tag.
Edit: Or on the wiki

Edited again: Her Name-name, her Adult Name, the way Luca’s is Hunting Hawk and Regine’s is Lady of the Lake

So, You’ve Managed to Survive the Apocalypse… and the immediate post-apoc no-tech horror…

…You’ve managed to survive the end of the world, where 90% of the people didn’t.

You’ve managed to survive the first few horrid years of “shit, how do we feed ourselves?” and so on.

It is now Apoc+5, and you and about 400 other people have managed to form a small, mostly-self-sufficient community.

It’s time to think of the laws, the taxes, the ideals by which your society will be governed, and your input is being asked for – and valued highly.

What are the top tenets of the society as you suggest them?

Really gonna do this serial thing and…

…I’m pondering donation/review incentives.

Would you rather a donation threshold for
* an extra chapter in that time period
* a bonus story in that time period
* a third option you’re welcome to suggest below?
